*blleeeeep bleeeep beep bleeeep bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* ..... *bleeeeeep*

I think Askey deserves time because of last season and the strange circumstances surrounding this season, but he certainly needs to sort it out quickly.

If Legge was my captain I'd be screaming in his face for that 3rd. Pathetic.
Askey is on thin ice with me.

We are all disappointed after a defeat , but a few games in and after a defeat to the side that are top, what would be the benefit of sacking the manager.

Who would you replace him with. ?

Promotion contenders vs a mid table team.

What tonight and the last few games have showed me is we've gone backwards since last year. A number of the players who pushed us to near the play offs last year are either out of form or not here anymore.

Whitehead is no where near the player Jake Taylor is, and in turn that's lead to Burgess not being able to play at the levels he did last year. Worrall looks completely devoid of form at the moment and it's causing a real lack of creativity.

On paper we have some of the best striking options in the league. In practice it's just not happening for any of them.

We will be fine and we will still beat bad teams, but I have serious doubts about our play off credentials.

My dog. The substitutions would no longer be getting made on the cusp on injury time.

It overall has been a rather flat match. We had a few reasonable chances but never looked like winning. I watch Vale pass the ball around but never look like doing much.

Worrall and Robinson improved on previous showings, but overall it seemed far too long between chances and there was nothing that gave me encouragement to think we’d get another goal after the penalty.

It is unusual I have little to say after a Vale game but that was fairly uneventful. We lost to a better team, who created better chances and looked far more dynamic going forward.

Only saw second half. Would have gonedifferently with better finishing but we were decent. ‘M not too disatisfied.

I disagree. For a side with a lot of talent and a lot of possession we create very few clearcut chances.

Askey's game management was non-existent tonight. Even by his standards he left his subs late.

Definitely. Can’t remember Brown making a save, they put away their chances.
We wasted some great ones, Monty’s header that he put over for example, should be burying that

Disappointing result however much better peformance today...probably one fo the best of the season. Passing was much better, played at a higher temp than we have seen so far and I thought we responded really well to going a goal down.

Lost our way a little in 2nd half but I'm very frustrated JA doesn't do anything to affect the game once we had lost control.Instead we wait for the customary 80th minute before making a change.

Don't understand how Whiteahd managed to stay on the pitch so long. He kept losing his battle with his man in the midfield (lost him for the 2nd goal) and when he received the ball his control was terrible. I know Burgess has struggled to impact the games so far but he must be better option than him.

81 minutes to make a change when we have Pope, Cullen and Rodney on the bench and quite clearly the game was going nowhere? Sick to the back teeth of Askey. We have the squad but I'm believing less and less that he's the man to get the most from it.

<ovf censored> <ovf censored>. <ovf censored> off, Askey!

And the chance just after their 2nd for Robinson

Garbage.

I've tried to defend to Askey and have always tried to keep positive but his stubbornness to make a sub later on is massively frustrating and costing us points. You could see a mile off it wasn't working. Starting Whitehead was a huge mistake as well - I refuse to believe he is a professional footballer. Absolute garbage

Except for Brown and maybe Clark there's no fight or ideas from these players just the usual hoofball and hope it lands.

Incredibly frustrating to watch and I fear with no fans at home we are gonna struggle this season. Askey and team need to step up because this isn't good enough

Askey out from me, all too negative for me with his choices, Whitehead is dogshite and shouldn't be anything better than the bench
