In the next preview I would like to hear your thoughts on corners and throw ins. I counted at least 5 corners today that hit the first man, and a couple more that went straight to the keeper. How is our delivery so terrible?? And as for the long throw, never mind scoring, we never even win a bloody header off it! I’d like to see the long throw in the bin.

They're trying to whip in a dangerous cross at a good pace rather than just generally float it in the box. That's why professional players often fail to clear the first man. It's quite difficult to get the technique and power spot on, which it has to be for the corner to be effective. If they're slightly off then it looks terrible and is no threat whatsoever.

But yeah, it's <ovf censored> when a player consistently fails to take a good corner.

It may sound like slagging off but on the whole enjoy the pod but jesus christ some of stuff jonny come out about smithy is a shambles best defender at the club. Why would you not want your best defender in DEFENCE. Cant understand it in slightest. we can afford have one defender who isnt the best on the ball. Would be in for a big shock if he left us because good luck replacing him. He also said his reason thought is that hes not good on the ball but then he goes onto to say hed play him cdm to come get the ball off the cbs make it make sense. Chatting a load of waffle which is dangerous with the amount of listeners.

The criticism from Johnny on Smith is very harsh. Smith hardly puts a foot wrong every game, keeps it simple, gets the basics right.
