Back to the 6 pointers, keep the run alive with Askey`s playing style and start climbing to safety. Keep the winning team of course, however the Tuesday stamina test of our improved fitness may mean changes in the second half. Settled winning teams breed confidence, but the ability to bring on a fitter Pope to upset the opposition maybe useful in the future, especially if he is keen to get back on the pitch. The more options the better. So same again Vale, high tempo organised play for our first double of the season.

2nd double, we already have the double over Crawley.

Same side if fit and Pope resting for Saturday's game maybe. But then will it be back to hoof ball rather than playing the ball on the ground?

Don't want to be Askey to make that decision. Another 3 points would be great.

Simple pick the side that’s played well and the striker that’s just scored two goals.

Hope that is what Askey and Co do. However, will Pope get picked for just being Pope and the Vale talisman in some fans eyes. Hope he stays with Miller and gives him a couple of games to prove he is what we hope he can be a goal scorer.

Yeovil at their place were the worst team I've seen all season and that includes us at our worst. They can't be that bad again can they??

Surely not! They were absolute garbage. We should have scored 8 that night!!

As for the team, if only it were as easy as sending out the same 11. Those lads put in a 90 minute effort yesterday equating to something they’ve not produced all season. Two games at that tempo, in the space of 3 days, is a huge ask.

Don't expect gaps in yeovils defence like Mansfield, they will come here for a point with a 10 men behind the ball,it won't be as easy as as Saturday to play little one twos through them and there definitely won't be space in behind them to run into.

I don’t get the continual Pope bashing..... did you go to Notts County? Vale played very well and just need a break or the ball to drop. Personally I think it has nothing to do with whether he plays or not, it’s the rest of the team.... especially Kay and Rawlinson - they are hoof/sideways ball specialists. It’s not coincidence that we’ve played better football since Legge, Conlon, Manny and Worrel has been in the team.

Same team again unless theres a injured party .

Popey will have to sit on the bench ,there is no need disrupt the flow of the play .

The players should take to the field feeling ten foot tall .

Hopefully the level of performance is to yesterdays standard as it will need be .

Hope the fans get behind them again its very important to encourage .

Agree with most of that.

Pope is our best striker but I do feel we have to stick with Miller on the back of his 2 goals. Pope off the bench with 10-15 minutes to go against Mansfield would have been ideal.

Manny and Conlon have to play. I know both have had massive form dips this season but when these 2 play well, the team plays well.

Don't let's overlook the contribution of Worrall in our last two games.

He was in the wilderness but has been as good as anyone in the last two games, full of running and leading by example.

It's hard to alter a winning team that did so well so I'm not arguing that we do but I believe that the likes of Howkins, Monty & Pope are just as good as anything we have on the pitch and we've now got strength on the bench when everyone is fit.

Agree entirely with regards Miller, you can’t drop a player who has just scored you 2 goals against the 3/4th placed team in the league.

I can’t see Askey changing anything come Tuesday, any injuries aside he’d be daft to change it.
