He is a joke ref no fans in the lower leagues like him. A sign of a poor ref is one like him thats been around 15 years but not made it into the premier league like someone like lee probert ended up doing.

He cant keep up with play and most of the time he stands around the half way line or between 30 yards of each goal as he cant run the full length of the pitch. I also cant remember the last time we actually won a match that he did.

One of his first league games in charge was our 0-0 draw at Swindon in October 2003 !

Sure he was the ref for our FA Cup defeat at Exeter which was followed by Norman’s touchline rant at Page

In stead of slagging the ref why not change it like shouting there only one trevor kettle one trevor kettle and see if that gets him on our side in stead of him being called all the names under the sun.

I was staying with a friend in Scotland at the weekend and watched hurling. So they were playing at Croke Park and the pitch is 144 metres long by 80 metres wide. The game finished 32-32 after 20 minutes extra time making 90 plus injury in total. But when play breaks down the Sliotar (ball) gets whacked 100 metres up the pitch in a moment. Ref has no chance to keep up. That said they did have goal line technology which helps and guys behind both posts as well.

Entertaining, but not replacing the beautiful game anytime soon.

We are sounding just like the Lardies, blame the ref every week. It's up to us to perform on Saturday if we want three points.

The players have to manage the ref. His overall states for bookings and sendings off look normal. But if he is a guy that blows up for free kicks all the time then they need to stay on their feet when defending etc.

Don't let the Kettle boil over.
