It wasn't a poor offer! And peoples own fault, that they didn't come to see us pretty much secure staying up, with a good victory and performance against Lincoln!

 

Those two games just sums up the season... The team has absolutely no consistency! Those two games were day and night performances, which we have seen all through the season! The biggest problem being, nobody ever knew, which team showed up... The one putting in a shift or the one putting on the circus.

How many times has people on here, or Aspin for that matter, said that we didn't get what we deserved?

The problem with football is though, that you don't get points for playing well...

Offer didn't work = bad offer. Predictable too.

You're fighting a losing battle with many Vale fans. The mentality seems to be "Think small, stay small,keep plodding along and under no circumstances try something different or imaginative".

I can't say that it didn't hinder them either.

 

They played one of the worst teams in the league and scraped a 1-0 win.

 

I just don't think these one off offers work at all. We did it v Burton in the promotion season and if that didn't have a lasting effect on attendances then I don't know what will.

 

I think you would need a plan over a few years to drastically reduce season tickets before you see any true increase.

Or think smart, don't throw money away needlessly. Weigh up the potential benefit against the cost.
