I think yesterday the reality of my beloved Port Vale actually losing league status hit me hard. It hurts

It hurt me that much i couldnt even face work last night so just went bed instead of work .

Not good very disappointed in the players efforts this year.

On a scale of 1 to 10 we hitting a 2 in order survive we need hit a 8 .

Are we capable on the evidence of what iam witnessing .

NO thought last season wasbad but tis season takes it to a new level altogether .

My team not that will be the team asit certainly wont but big games requires big hearts and lots of energy and players not going through the motions .

This is our future at stake and free coach should be put on but wont be .

Energy all over the field with Worrall Reeves Hannant to go beyond Barnett but also do the dirty work of blocking etc etc .

Hopefully one of the three back centre half can play and bring the ball out of defence and pass it to a black and white shirt .

The system allows Montano and Gibbons to get forwards but its down to the three in the middle to create the space so the over lapping full backs can deliver .

Keep in the game and replace Hannant with Whitfield and Turner or Barnett with Harness .

No pope he is injured we need the forwards be able to be the first line of defence ,id go forrester but he is not delivering so at least Barnett should trouble Barnet height wise but he needs to put in a shift as all the players Aspo chooses .

He will go with Kay Tonge and Pugh though and injured Pope ,and as much as i admire him playing through the pain barrier he isnt doing the team any favours and its showing .

Pete Vale. It's all about opinions on here none of us are right or wrong.

Am I missing something with this clamour for Regis ? He hasn't featured since November , indeed had had 20 mins at Newport and a dead rubber in the checkatrade. He is obviously a bad egg and has no interest in bettering himself.

My choice would be Worrall in centre midfield with Tonge , based on Pugh is a spent force.

Regis has clearly not impressed in the reserves or training.

I know we are desperate in midfield but am I on my own in never getting the hype about this lad ? Regis is not Ian Taylor and will probably end up non league back down south .

 

Darren, I don't know Regis have only read comments about him. Couldn't go the checkatrade game he played.

I'm merely saying how poor we are he couldn't be any worse imo, neither could Middleton and a few others - it's that bad!

You are right in the fact he can't be worse than what we have , strange though that him Middleton and Reeves seem to of been ditched despite our hideous midfield on their Zimmer frames
