Brexit again...

That is the sort of stuff we have had from the Leavers since the referendum. Instead of accepting that almost half of those who voted wanted to remain and, therefore, a degree of compromise might have been the way forward, we have just had over two years of yah boo sucks you lost. If the ERG had any sense, we would already have agreed a Brexit deal and avoided all this crap.

Don't blame the ERG,I think it's great that somebody is prepared to stand up for Brexit against all the House of Commons Remainers.

Rubbish. Go back and look at your thread that you pulled up a few days ago, we've had years of remainers recycling garbage irrelevant points because they simply cannot accept that they lost.

If we leave with a terrible deal, it wont be the fault of brexiters, it will be the fault of remainers in Government and Parliament.

There is no compromise in a 2 horse race with a clear winner. If you attempt to compromise it will simply mean that instead of 52% getting what they wanted, 0% will get what they wanted. Great compromise. It's clear that the remain side have failed at getting the result over turned and have focused their energy on "if we can't win, neither can you"

Whatever the rights & wrongs of all the arguments, the ERG group has overplayed its hand and is now in real danger of not getting Brexit at all. I must confess to being a (reluctant) remain voter but above all, I am for democracy and, as a democrat therefore, do not believe that a 2nd vote is in the interests of democracy.

However, because of the make-up of parliament which has always been mainly pro-remain (both the Commons & The Lords) and because of the downright intransigence of the ERG & DUP, there is a great danger that the Theresa May deal will be voted down again this week and it will then be 'open season' for the parliamentary remainers to argue for either an extension to article 50 or to push for the second vote with a remain option on the ballot paper as so many want--be careful what you wish for arch Brexiteers!

There's only one thing we wish for Bill and that's for parliament to honour the result of the referendum, leave the EU and stop trying to thwart what 17.4m people voted for.

They don't want to be part of this project.

What part of that don't they understand?

Well tell the ERG to vote for the deal and stop fannying around.

Not his decision. Only the May deal or no deal.

Can he make a decision without changing it the next day?

A remain deal or no deal.

Now that's a tough one for Brexiteers?

He would make an ideal PM then based on the current performance of the incumbent.

They are not going to vote for a Remain deal which keeps us in?

We need to stop pussy footing around and get out before the EU tie us down even more?

Does it get rid of membership of the single market? Yes after 2020

Does it get rid of freedom of moevement which was the main concern of lot of the Leavers? Yes

Are the rights of British citizens living in the EU guaranteed? Yes

Does it allow us to create our own trade deals? Yes

What else did the Leavers want? And don't give me any rubbish about the Irish border because nobody gave a stuff about that before the referendum.

I don't think the Irish border was considered a problem until the EU made it a problem.
