when port vale start to consider their supporters a star will rise in the east.

I didnt realise we only accepted money from proper fans... I presumed that as long as it had the queens face on it vale could spend it... no wonder we are skint

 

 

Be realistic, this isn’t Man Utd. That coupled with the price of football means our casual fan base is tiny.

The committed supporter, which is pretty much all we have left, will jump any obstacle in their way to go the Vale, because that is what they do, go the Vale. Lapsed supporters, especially the older generation, are not as “organised” because they no longer go on a regular basis. People used to look out if the window at 1pm on match days to see what the weather is doing before deciding whether to go or not. How can you expect these people to be “organised” when going the match or not is a snap decision. These are the fans we’ve lost and the club do little to try and attract them back. But one thing is for sure, queueing for a ticket for what seems an eternity isn’t the way to do it.

 

That is their problem. The club cannot please everyone all the time and all the problems you state are brought on the consumer by themselves.

 

I’m also not having it that your average pensioner does anything as a snap decision

Ah this would have been about the time I rang up to pre order to my ticket but told it was too late at 1:30 And I would have to buy pre kick off. Thought I would make the queue one shorter but obviously they were too busy

Why do they need 7 people if there are only 3 bays.

Why break the habit of a lifetime by actually serving fans.

It's still part of the obstacle course to make it difficult to watch Port Vale.Most fans think twice about going if they have to queue ages in the freezing cold and the service is poor.Nothing has changed since Ted left and Garlick seems scared of changing things and upsetting them by challenging this poor service.Get them out of their nice warm office to operate one paying turnstile in each part of the ground simples.

Someone booked their tickets think it was for Coventry game.They wanted to PRINT OFF the tickets at home.The money was taken but the wrong order was sent through.They ended up a ticket short.Tried to phone the ticket office but could not get an answer.So ended up having to go down to the ticket office and sort it out.SYSTEM FAILED.

 

We have this thread raising another thread on the same problems raising valid points about the ticket office.SYSTEM FAILED

 

I have been up myself to buy tickets.Staff behind the counter looked up from their phone seen I was their then carried on playing what ever game they were playing or doing on their phone.SYSTEM FAILED(poor service)

What about the thousands of tickets sold every season without issue? Two people moaning vs literally thousands not! Back in the real world...
