Roos, Gibbons, Anderson, Smith, Gunning, Kay, Pugh, Harness, Whitfield, Worrall, Pope. So is Kay there to protect the back 4, seems reasonable against high fliers and energetic forwards. Wind is the unknown factor.

 

Kay is a cart horse and similar to Pugh.Think Tonge would have been a straight swop for Denton.Cuts down the number of players going forward.Why not gamble and play Montano from the start as we were slow off the blocks at Morecambe.

Some talk on radio sjoke before the match about him coming off at half time saying he could not carry on and Aspin may now be thinking he has not got the will to play when not feeling 100%. So may not be in Aspin's plans now.

Denton is unwell and has been for a week or so, I have been told. He will be back and just as effective, but it is a good decision to give him time to get right in my opinion.
