Where do we go from here?

If we finished 9th in Micky's last full season and we have consistently finished below that ever since that's a downward spiral in essence particularly given whereWe currently languish.

So our decline began under Micky, not after he left?? We were 23rd in League 1 when he resigned.

Page beating his own crap first season marginally but still finishing lower than Micky's season in league 1 was nothing to praise him for.

REP, I'm beginning to think Page must have misbehaved with your missus the way you keep rewriting history. Page was not the best manager in the world but he was far from the worst and was undoubtedly better than the blokes who have followed him.

Fancy you bringing smut into a post 😂

Micky had what 6 games? Page had a full season and still almost sucked us back into the relegation mire.

Judging anyone by Bruno and Brown's standards is absolutely clutching at straws. I'm very glad he's gone given a large proportion of the utter dross I sat through. He's hardly proved us wrong since he left has he?

It was 8 games, of which we had won one. Would we have stayed up under Micky after that start though? On the very morning he left he spoke to me in the car park and said "I've done my best". Indeed he had, but his best at that moment saw us in the League One relegation places so who's to say Page stopped us going down that year? Not you, of course!

He's an international manager and doing OK thanks. Although you will now make disaparaging comments about the Wales U21 team no doubt.

And who is to say he did stop us going down that year, unless you are having a sliding doors moment you will never know.

Dangerous?

I've already stated I will join the haters club if he fails with this appointment.

See you at the haters club members meeting then... Most of us have been there since stupid decision numbers 1 or 2.... if it takes you longer to see things that's ok. Don't forget your subs... £1 a week for biscuits and orange juice.

What sort of biscuits? Do I get a sew on badge with a snarling face biting at the owner's heels as he runs comically away?

Didn't he get sacked by Northampton? Quite sure there fans said he was one of the worst managers they've had! Not really fair calling him an international manager when it's the Welsh under 21 side. Besides that's not much of a shout anyway, we've had some international players here recently and they've all been garbage....

OK then, he's an international U21 manager. Happy now.

Agreed.

Can't discount these other two teams from pulling it together (or one of them). Most teams need around 45-50 points to stay up in League 2, it could well be around 40 this year. Couldn't watch or listen to the game tonight but it's absolutely dire that we are not picking up points. I would have taken a point tonight.

A manager must be in place for Saturday. I'm already looking at the results and checking out Chesterfield and Forest Green at the same time :(

Yes, checking other teams' results at this stage of the season is a real sign of desperation. Doing it myself and thinking we must be really in the mire to be relying on the form of other teams at this point. If Chesterfield get their manager appointment right and pull away, we're odds on for the National.
