It's great to see a bit of humour and levity amongst the oh-so-dreary outpourings from so many people.

 

I'll be there tomorrow as I've got a season ticket and so it makes no sense for me to stay away. It'll surely be our lowest home gate so far but we might just get a fluky goal that changes our fortunes. We might not, but there's no point going with such pessimistic views as seem to be the default attitude in The Potteries.

Really? My recent experience in the Bycars tells me you are as likely to see a Vale win as you are a M&P pie. That's Colin doing his day job again.

God knows why, but I've gone 2-0 Vale for this one. This is the result that papers over several gaping holes and gives Brown a stay of execution thereby prolonging the reoccurring nightmare of square pegs in round holes and general tactical ineptitude for another 10 games.

I feel strangely excited by the prospect of this game. It seems like a day of destiny, that something is going to happen to breach the dam of frustration building up among we Vale fans. Win and there will be relief and joy at having ended this dreadful run, lose and it will surely bring closer the day we have a new manager with more of a clue. Just hope it's not a draw, which would only keep the cloak of fog enveloping Port Vale's future

A draw is as bad as another defeat. The tactics he plays should have as much to do with his staying or departing as the result, even if we win with 4 centre halves in defence and one up front that is not going to get us out of trouble.

With my Vale head on, I'm obviously hoping for a win.

 

With my fixed-odds coupon head on, I note we are one of two teams in our division who haven't drawn a game yet.

FGR have played a fair few decent teams, so, although they are conceding plenty, they should not be taken lightly, especially as they have scored goals.

One thing is for sure; Vale have no points at home, FGR have no points away, so something has to give.

Two teams struggling, the most likely outcome is a draw.

It does seem strange one today, It could be the tipping point en-masse of our support if we lose, or a maybe a stay of execution if we win but with some relief for the 3points- Think it could be a snore draw and with MB promising 3points having no more excuses

I dont think we as the bottom club out of the 92 league clubs fans should be predicting anything .

I just hope c a performance where the Vale players show they care about the people who watch them and pay there wages.

Can Brown deliver im not sure he can ,but the players can and whether we win lose or draw Brown has already lost to many games for this season be anything other than plain average at best.

FGR have conceded ten in the three away games thus far... we can't have any excuses for not scoring a couple today and if Brown plays a negative set up with this in mind then he's lost what little of the plot he currently has.
