At the moment, I think I'd settle for anyone other than Brown and his motley crew. Micky, Page, Horton, Foyle and Porter, all sound like paradise compared to the incompetent performances we're being served up at the moment. We need a small amount of organisation, player motivation and tactical nous - that's all it would take. It's so bad at present, survival is all that matters.

We all laughed at Crewe........ but Artell has galvanised that club, his signings of Dagnall and Porter make us look like the non league side we are becoming.

Browns transfer activity has been woeful,if he had any sense he would walk, but he wont, it will be up to Smurthwaite to fund the dismissals and we all know that wont happen.

Brian Horton.

Marin Adams Easleigh big win ratio Brian McDermott, Tony Adams, Nigel Adkins mike phealan Alan parades alsn Stubbs , Gary Brabin. Neil red fern Brian Laws

There are some laughable names in there. Tony Adams is awful, Eastleigh are loaded, Mike Phelan has done nothing as a manager, Alan Stubbs at Rotherham makes Michael Brown look good! Then you list Neil Redfearn who's win ratio makes me look a good manager!!

Most of that list is as crap as your claim to run a billion pound business!

For me it had to be someone like Nigel Adkins, Brian McDermott or Steve Cotterill.

At the end of the day decent managers cost money, when Adams left an experienced manager should have been appointed instead of this complete circus of employing the "cheap option".

I've said it before, the most important person at any football club is the manager. I like many would much prefer to have an experienced manager at the helm than have to pay for the likes of Micheal Brown and Colin Garlick, when you could get rid of both combine the wages which would pay for an experienced manager.

Don't forget it isn't just Browns departure that Smurf needs to fund, it's Morgan, Kirkland, Kelly and Wrack too. A very expensive solution.

More expensive than the loss in revenue of another relegation season, and the further drop in value of becoming a non league club?

Garlick indicated that funds still available in the playing budget, I'm sure these could be diverted to pay an experienced manager, and we could at least get out of trouble this season which I feel is the most we can hope for

We had an experienced Manager in Micky Adams when we got promoted. The money Fradley is paying Norman to play with is train set could be used to pay for a decent Manager.

Also didn't Norman say he had made 250 k for people to look at the books.

I think when Norman set on Bruno there was a clause to say we must be in the top 6 by Christmas so that's why he went.

I just hope Brown had a similar clause when Garlick offered him a permanent contract.

But I am not building my hopes on that as Garlick doesn't seem to be so clever.

I just hope Norman keeps his promise to get rid of Brown and his cronies plus Garlick.

Anything is better than carrying on with them despite Normans threat to come back.

At least bring in a Director of football to organise things and Brown can concentrate on playing.
