I know that the likes of Ernie will be creaming themselves where we find ourselves but what i will say is that i have no doubt that should we lose Saturday and to County then Brown will have to go and i would expect him to,i like him and want him to turn it around but should those results happen then he clearly wouldn't be able to.

 

Then i would like us to approach Wycombe and not just because they beat us but Ainsworth has done wonders on a small budget and Hasn't been sacked as a manager,his teams would run through brick walls for him and he has managed for nearly 300 games. Please dont bring in a dinosaur has been,who has been sacked by a few clubs lets go for a young PROVEN one.....i doubt we have the know how to do that though sadly

If the young lads can't take a bit of booing then they'll never have a career in professional football. It's not as though they were being singled out for booing.

 

Should build a but of character. Something which by the sound of things, we're really lacking.

I don't think we showed any lack of effort against Wycombe....just a lack of nous in how to match them. Some of the younger lads were up against seasoned pros.

 

I understand booing after terrible showings etc but less than two games into a season? Really?

I wasn't there so can't comment on the match itself but in terms of booing, as others have stated, it's not just the games this season which led to booing, is the dreadful run under Brown which took us down last year. I think all of the players would take it in that context. They'll know they've not been good enough in the 3 games.

Do you think Port Vale were the only team in the football league to have to sign a bunch of new players this summer? Maybe other teams didn't have to do it quite to the same extent, but once they have gelled do you think Michael Brown is suddenly going to show more tactically? Actually become a capable manager suddenly?

 

It's people like you that last season were spouting about Brown not having his own squad of players. Well now he is, and it's quite clear we're still **** and he's still a toss manager that's stealing a living as an actual manager of a professional club. So in 20 games time when we're still ***** and Brown still hasn't got a clue, and the season is too many games long to try and salvage in any way, what excuses are you going to start spouting then?

 

So tired of hearing the same absolute ******** with every dog **** manager we have! It's fans like you with no ambition and is happy to accept the same dross pretty much every week why the football club will never amount to anything.

 

Great post totally agree. And also I am amazed that the fans of today walk away with a whimper the fans I knew and loved would have protested months ago. We accept this situation because we have a small club mentality. Next seasons excuse will be we are only a non league outfit

As for the your point re digging at Brown, I couldn't agree more. I didn't want Michael Brown as manager, I'm not sure I do now either but **** it, he's here, on paper it looks good and he'll get my support. Now is not the time for swiping at the club, it's the time to get behind them.

Best post I have read on here in twelve months. Helilluya someone prepared to fight for the club we expect some fight from the players but we have booed walked off and gone home to play key board warriors for the last twelve months.
