Season Ticket Prices/Sales

Recommended Posts

Not aimed at anyone individual but been on Facebook before I came on here and folk are saying the same thing that they carnt afford a S T or they need a few weeks to get the money together so carnt the club extend the deadline.

We had this conversation last season and the season before that etc.

Makes me laugh why folk carnt put a few pounds away in a biscuit tin every week like I do and many others do the same,

Did Belly give your tin to you Grebo? Only joking mate what you say does make sense if the budget is tight. My problem is simply the way the club is being run, the money is waiting for a change in ownership.

Excellent initiative from Colin Garlick and his team it is now a case of will the heart strings be pulled to the football team or the embargo on Norman what a shame it has come to this:sad:

Can't fault a £ reduction but nowhere near enough to tempt anyone new to the Club.

The business model is that we need to sell x tickets to meet the budget. Surely should be the other way round?

The only buyers will be those who can't resist feel it disloyal not to buy. That's not a plan. That's a disaster.

So is that the end for you and your family Alan?

If as a fan you are happy with the reduction in the early bird offer... fine

From a business perspective it isnt designed to get new purchases or to build... its simply an effort to tempt the undecided among the fans who would usually buy... the hard core 3,000?... although taking account of the estimated number of childrens tickets I would suggest 2,500 or less.

To achieve this it has to be followed up by a heavy presence sales/advertising wise.

Its good to see "some" have already received e mails about the offer.... but only some?

Of the 4 of us, only 2 went regularly last year and we both paid "on the gate."

I missed 1 game so by my maths I paid £484 for the season and will probably do the same this year.

I has an ST for 25 years but stopped 2 years ago and I refuse to be blackmailed by clown Fradley to get one this time.

I honestly can't see us shifting many more than 1000 season tickets unless something drastically changes at the club. If Smurf thinks he can just sit away in the background whilst we have buyers waiting and hope that all this blows over he's even more stupid than I thought. As for the prices, it's too late now. They should have been advertising target offers in January like every other club in the country. The club has about as much marketing capability as *******.

I'm sorry Walt but if we all had your attitude Smurthwaite would happily take your 'brass' and still serve us up rubbish. This guy misguidedly though that Port Vale was a 'cash cow' waiting to be milked. Guess what you cant milk a bull and so as long as the bloke is attached to the Club I won't buy another season ticket. The money factor is irrelevant to me it's the man running the club that bothers me.

By the way Walter what gives you the right to say who is and who isn't a 'real fan' because I am a fan but I aren't a fool who will be blinded by my scarf being wrapped over my eyes.

Football guides me not politics of the club, I just want the club to be there for generations to come.

I don't think there will be any movement on the 'ownership' situation until the Hugill and Smith issues have been sorted so it could go on through the summer!!

A tenner a game for OAP'S and £12 per game aren't that bad for league two matches don't know what some people expect especially if we want to sign good enough players to get out of League two next year

Also they have addressed the 'FREE' for under twelve's this time around which should encourage more younger fans who at that age could attend on their own or with mates!!

Never thought i would do anything to hurt this club of mine but i cannot renew my season ticket while smurf is there. This the man who has always said he will leave our club in a better state than when he took it over.I have lost all faith in the man like many vale fans have and i pray that he opens negotiations to sell the club before he does anymore damage to the club i love.
