If we can find an adequate replacement for Grant - and it's a big if in January - then he'll probably go as even a small fee is better than nothing in June.

But I really wouldn't like to see him go and not sign a good replacement. And I don't mean a 19 year old youngster.

He plays that holding role in front of the back four very well, shields the young centre backs and breaks up play brilliantly at times.

 

Peterboro are aiming for promotion and a small fee for them isn't at all out of the question or unrealistic.

Depends if they are in danger of being relegated in that six month gap. Despite his detractors, Grant doesn't half shore a team up defensively when he's in the mood for it.
