Who given the fact they are free agents will be of similar ilk to Theo and N'Guessian ( though he was reasonable ) , we want quality not numbers, if they aint got a club now then they are garbage.

Being greedy but I'd like an experienced defender as well. It's worried me all season what might happen if Streete or Smith are out. We'd be awful in the air.

The two QPR lads will help to give us a bit more pace and energy. We badly needed a quick winger, that's a certainty as Thomas has lost half a yard of pace and a wheelchair user would be quicker than Eagles when I saw him last week. It makes perfect sense.

 

Where we are lacking is clearly in goal, possibly at the back as well, and though we seem covered in attack an experienced player there too would not go amiss.

 

And then of course there's Grant. if he goes... we will badly need a similar strong defensive midfielder.

 

I have to say after this morning's early positive transfer news we are certainly running down the clock now and things don't look as if they're going to plan but there's still 3 hours to go.

Just pointing out that "wheelchair user" could actually complete a marathon within 90 minutes. . 80 minutes and 14 seconds to be precise is the world record and an able bodied person would need extra time and a few penalties to complete a marathon. So clearly Thomas isn't as quick as a "wheelchair user". Or was that all you were trying to point out anyway, if so apologies for my sarcasm.

That was an unfortunate phrase for me to use. I apologise. What I meant was that Eagles didn't look fully fit to me last week and continually kept cutting inside because the right back had the beating of him for pace. Thomas isn't quick either. We do need faster, quicker players down the flanks. Defenders hate pace.
