I wasn't too excited about Coleman to begin with, but after hearing some of the other names mentioned I'd be relieved if it turned out to be him.

Don't forget Smurf wants Brown to interview the candidates as he is far more experienced in football. I believe Brown may be on holiday hence as well as one of the candidates being under contractual agreements till then.

I should imagine Brown will be back next week hence we may hear more.

I think you're spot on. I think saying there's three candidates being interviewed/ making the right choice/ etc is more appealing than saying we've got to wait a few weeks. I'm sure he's already done all those things but he has to drag it out because he needs to sell tickets and keep a buzz going

If Smurf is using Glover and Sproson (Whose stable of clients is underwhelming) I'm getting slightly concerned.
