What are you talking about? Clyne was the best player on the pitch by a distance, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Liverpool supporter.

Maybe..but still not as good as Walker has been...it's the comparison to Walker that counts not to anyone in any other position

In my opinion Clyne was every bit as good as Walker was in his two games this tournament last night. They are two excellent attacking full backs and the competition for a place in the starting 11 is only a good thing. It's a shame that Luke Shaw couldn't play this tournament because he and Rose can form a similar competition for the other full-back spot.

You can't not count the FA Cup' date=' it's the second domestic trophy.[/quote']

I'm not discounting it, but depending on the draw you get it's far, far easier to win the FA Cup that it is either the Premier League or Champions League. Truth is Arsenal won't have a better opportunity to finally lift the Premier League trophy again than they did last season for a long, long time.

As long as Wenger remains there I can't see them winning either of the above, simple as that.

Fairynuff..IMO he was nowhere near to Walker..boring if we all agreed :)

Hope to see Shaw back next season and that he can get back to his best

All this shout for Vardy to start....I didn't even know he was on the pitch in the second half. Apart from Dier I thought the whole team was average to poor last night. Rooney was dreadful when he came on and Alli has been awful in all 3 games.

Hopefully against a better team we might have more space around their area because we just can't break teams down who park the bus.

I think at the moment we're lacking creativity in the middle of the park. Wilshere is a decent player and can unlock defences when he's 100% but unfortunately for him he never seems to be. For someone of his ability when fit his goals and assists record over the years is quite abysmal. Henderson is a worker, nothing more, and the same applies Milner, although I think the latter has a bit more quality.

Alli is yet to light up the tournament - To me he looks a bit jaded. I'm wondering if it's time to unleash Barkley and hope he has one of those games when he looks a world-beater. At his best he can certainly create and score a goal.

Hart

Walker

Smalling

Cahill

Rose

Dier

Rooney

Barkley

Alli/Lallana

Sturridge

Kane

Sturridge has far too much ability not to be used properly, and a centre back partnership having to think about him will also take some of the weight off Harry Kane who I believe can still leave a mark on the tournament. Use Vardy as a super-sub.

Henderson offers nothing in midfield and Wilshere is not sharp enough. Lallana is energetic and presses well but his end product has been poor. Sturridge has talent but was poor against Slovakia and came too deep with little movement. Think Barkley may offer some creativity but not been tried yet. Walker has been our best player yet woy dropped him when we should have kept momentum. Dier and clyne apart, we were awful against Slovakia.

England should play better when they play better teams but unfortunately the last 3 games have shown the better teams just how to play England as did the games against Italy and Uraguay In Brazil 2014.

As bad as Sterling has been he has to play to unlock defenses and if it doesn't work out bring him off after 45 minjs or sooner, and so does Sturridge for the same reason and for my money Barklay should play instead of Llalana any day.

Agree with that line up but would consider Sterling in place of Kane, I'm puzzled over Kane's form, he has to come good sometime but against Slovakia when he came on he was not good again.

Another master post. Well done Northern Ireland, majestic show.

Not quite sure what coronation street means, but you've got about the same level of football judgement as a ferret.

Funny that did Russia finish bottom and both Slovakia and Wales beat them?

Go and fiddle with your cats or something.
