The rain we've had today has been forecast since about Tuesday.

 

The pitch must by now be drenched, and the game surely must be in some doubt.

 

Given that the Cov fans and plenty of Vale fans will be travelling from outside the area, I think it's a bit poor that there is nothing on the club's website about any pitch inspection being planned.

 

It's hard to imagine that there won't be an inspection - and if that takes place anytime after 9 am then plenty of people will surely travel in ignorance.

 

I'm definitely not one of life's (or this site's) moaners, but this strikes me as a minor PR-letdown (not a "PR DISASTER" as some would no doubt scream).
