£615 for me and my 2 kids to purchase season tickets for next season. That's a lot of Wonga. If were supposed to be a family club, then surely they've got do some kind of family season ticket that families can afford. £10 for juniors to pay on the day imo is expensive also.

Please explain why we would not have played Liverpool, or were you away from school the day it was explained?

Really no need for the school remark, it is accepted science that events influence other events, even that time and distance away - if Vale had got through instead of Exeter, there would have been different conversations, phone calls, the amount of time to read out the teams and numbers at the draw - all would have affected the timing of a draw where a tenth of a second sees a different result.

Its known as Chaos theory or butterfly theory and if you really think it through you will see it makes perfect sense, Vale could still have drawn Liverpool, but would have had the same chance as getting Stoke, Manchester Unoited...or Bolton away or MK Dons away.

The ball number determined that the victors of the game at Exeter were drawn to play Liverpool, irrespective of who won the game. The reference to school was because the subject has been raised on this site a few times. Not always the case, but it was for the 3rd round this season.

So my season ticket is the same price, without a programme, as no way will we meet the targets for a rebate. We'll have a reduced playing budget and I'll have to suffer another season of page in charge playing for a draw. And only a hundred pound less than premier league football down the road.

No wonder this club is dying on it's ****.

I think that it is called a 'theory' means that it's not a 'fact'! Accepted by many and questions by many others and probably doesn't apply in this situation.

But more to the point sweet FA to do with the subject of the thread.

This is a half good offer, which the club has more than likely not got feed back from fans about. The problem with the offer is that people don't have the money to pay the prices that are being charged in the first place so by offering refunds doesn't really help people out

Like the man with him and two kids even if done on the payment plan it is £123 per month, money a lot of people cannot afford

Why not offer a 10 month plan which would half it to a more manageable £61.50 a month

Allow people to start the plan in the next three months to build up a good amount people, instead of having 18days to advertise too people you would have 78 days to really get the word out. If started in Jan all money would be in by October, Feb by Nov and if started in March all the money would be in by December

A lot of clubs offer the 10 or even 12 month plans and they seem to do good attendance wise and it helps the fans out a lot making it much more affordable. From the clubs point of view I cannot see the harm as they will still receive the same amount of money just spread out

Liverpool reserves, perhaps you mean, with a bunch of returning loanees from Coventry, Wolves and places like that, most unheard of. Plus the fact there is no more chance we would have played Liverpool than anyone else if we had beaten Exeter, scientific fact.

Would you have attendee anyway

Along with Fosse's that's two things you've missed you really must keep up.

It is very good offer. Let's face it, Smurf isn't letting this club down, all those fans who were happy to come in their thousands to watch rubbish league 2 stuff even though we got promotion are. Truth be told our promo season was largely down to the combined efforts of Pope/Hughes. As a team our current side is far better to watch.

Oh dear.

Personally I'd rather watch Vale than a Premier League match at the same price. The Premier League is soleless, a global television circus. I prefer the real world of football where fans matter and actually make a difference.
