Could you comment on his performance against Wigan reserves, were you at the game or are you just looking at the result, if you were at the game fair play, what did he do wrong.

 

I would guess that he saw the score and commented,i can only go on what is in the paper and it seems most chances fell to JJ which he hit narrowly wide and he also created the goal

I wasn't at the game but I have been to quite a number of reserve games, including ones which JJ played in and I think we are dreaming that he is going to hit the ground running in the first team. I am not saying he isn't a potential star in the making but if he doesn't shine in a reserve game which is played at a much slower pace than a first team game I don't think he is ready for a regular start in the first team.
