After their performance last time out let's hope it's dented confidence and Vale romp away with it. I'm going for 2-1 Vale in the Predictor.

Streetes made a couple of errors hasn't it so assume that's why and with the carrot of a Euro 2016 place maybe McGivern will produce this season who knows.

 

Strongest midfield that except Andoh for Dodds. Be good to see how Occy and Grant combine.

You say go for the jugular and you want AJLS in your team, supposedly a striker with 2 goals in around 40 games, I hope I am proved wrong but he just does not look good enough.

AJ may have his qualities as a player but a goalscorer he is not. According to wiki, his goalscoring record is WORSE than Ben Williamson's, yet Page keeps relying on him for a goal when we fall behind. Why on earth he doesn't give JJ a chance from the bench is just beyond me.

Teams looks decent although I do feel that there isn't enough of a physical presence in a back 2 of McGivern and Duffy. I like them both but I feel they're too similar. Especially against a strong Burton side who are good from set pieces.

 

I'd really like to see us go 5-3-2 away from home... I think we'd need a right sided wing back and Deen-Conteh to step up for that system however.

duffy is the worst defender at the club, why hes dropped streete I don't know is duffy a welsh page untouchable? what is going on at this club. at least hoopers on the bench, prolly see him with about 4 minutes to go when were losing 3-0

Based on Tuesday's display, playing McGivern instead of Streete is a bit of a gamble, to say the least. McGivern looked lightweight and struggled to stem the tide of Colchester's attacks (watch the highlights to see his positioning on the second Colchester goal). Well, we'll know at five o'clock but I'm not optimistic about this one. Just hope he proves me wrong.

Your having a laugh, Duffy on this seasons displays is the best centre back at the club, he has turned his form around from previous seasons
