3 games unbeaten, winning games and staying unbeaten builds confidence, this is the best chance of a Wembley appearance. We should try and play the strongest possible side, maybe the odd change but win here and we are into the area quarter finals.

 

Look what happened to Walsall last year, getting to Wembley and they have built on that this year and find themselves in the top 2.

I'd bench Andoh and possibly Moore just to rest them (for Birchall or Lloyd) and possibly Foley (in favour of Brown). What's the score with Kelly, is he just not good enough yet?

Play our strongest team, when playing more competitive games you just need to reduce the strenuous stuff in training to compensate.

The players are usually given the day after a match off anyway.

Resting Grant would be my priority. We don't want to have to go many games without him.

We have to also give fringe players game time though? Start with 2 or 3 of those and can always bring on the stronger players if required.

I'd quite like to see Hooper get a run out and find a way to rest Enoch (that's porbably two changes). Maybe give McGivern a run out at left back as well. Other than that, I'd go with Saturday's starting line up.

I'd like to see as many changes as possible as I'd rather some of our players that run themselves into the ground given chance to rest. With what you say in mind, I'd go:

Keep the back 5 as consistent as we can. I think Daniel deserves a run of games up top as, for me, his performance against Sheffield was very impressive. However I'd think about giving him 45 minutes and then AJLS the second half. Birchall in the middle as I really don't see him as a winger - but he must have something to offer in the middle (he did play there in America after all).

I'd probably go with something like this giving some of the others a run out. However it might be a bit stronger with the reserves the following evening.

It really isn't a great money-maker.

 

There's virtually nothing made in the rounds before the final, and the final comes potentially just when you could do without it (whether that's going up, staying up or pushing for the playoffs).

 

An FA Cup run would be much better and certainly excites the fans more.

 

Put the stiffs out for Tuesday and let's get out of this poxy cup.

I'd rest Uche and Grant as believe both are one booking from a suspension (be sods law they both miss the same game when it does happen). I was hoping they'd both get a booking yesterday even if a tactical one near the end!
