Don't think we'll see him in a Vale shirt again mate tbh

Agreed. His face doesn't fit as well as Willo's or Birchalls's, ability aside and he's gone.

The real truth is he is one of them and he'll do better there. His heart wasn't in it for us

Tend to agree, I'm not a believer of the crap that is spouted on here that he's been rubbish for us! I actually thought he was up there in the best 5 or 6 players for us in the season before he went. Sadly as Yukon has said there were times when his heart haven't been in it and his face doesn't fit(which is ridiculous with rubbish like Williamson and Birchall being offered deals!). Sad as I think he could be quite a talented midfielder who should be a lot better than Conference and League Two but he's a Bristol Rovers lad and clearly want to move back that way! Good look to him!

Some players fit in some don't.

Lines has the talent and if he is at a club where he feels wanted he could be a great asset to them.

Hope he does go as clearly his face doesn't fit at Vale Park and with their potential crowds they could afford him

Promotion sees it more likely rovers will sign him permanently for me

It'll all depend on whether Bristol Rovers can get some money out of Sainsburys who have reneged on a deal to buy the Memorial Ground. Presumably as he has a year left on his contract, there will be some sort of transfer fee involved? Also, he is no doubt on a higher wage than the other Bristol Rovers players?

I agree - as per - http://www.onevalefan.co.uk/site/2015/05/why-sainsburys-could-hold-the-key-to-chris-lines-future/
