You say that the youth players are unlikely to make an impact next season, and you would be happy with two of the lads making it in this league, I've got news for you, there will be at least five, that will make it next season, provided they are given a chance, and before anybody says that it is a big step up to play league football, just look at Innis, Streete, Veseli, none had ever played league football until they played for us, that's three of them that have done alright for us, I'm very exited to what we have got in our youth set up, and you and other fans will be, when they are given a chance.

 

I'm prepared to have a real world 50 pound bet 4 of them don't play above 5 games and any that do get slated on here. Inniss had played for 3 league clubs prior to us and Veseli had half a season at Bury, but I don't believe Streete played elsewhere.

quite a few suprises in the retained lists so lets be having ours so as we can start cherry picking like all the rest,don't leave it until the last minute so as there's only the dross left.

 

Call me cynical but can't help but think the club will leave announcing the retained list until tomorrow/Friday which would be great days to bury bad news.????

Letss hope the news and sport don't get mixed up, or you could be starting next season with a centre half duo of Nigel Farage and Nick Clegg.....

 

Farage is a right winger, clegg left ;)

Yes as i think Veseli can only play centre back and hes too soft to play there. Yates can play left or right back, i dont think he should start but he is good cover

 

If Yates gets another contract I think that's that for me. He should be nowhere near League 1. The likes of Alfreton are calling for him.

I think that's a good thing for the club, we could do with less morons like you moaning and booing or generally abusing your own players every week.

Unlike you to be a massive ******** just because you disagree. It's just what we what that isn't it? Getting rid of the fans who actually attend matches?

 

Yates isn't a league 1 player it's clear to see a half descent winger completely embarrasses him every time. Look back through this very forum and you will see the reaction to Yates whenever he's played has been bad. He's not a league 1 player he's a very average league 2 player and that's that. The only reason people rate him on here is because he's local lad who supports the vale.
