I feel Marshall will be branded as a money grabber by some although I don't share this view. Maybe some will with pope as well but again I disagree with that. The key one for me is O'connor, as it looks like pope and Marshall are leaving the only players id like to see sign up are O'connor, veseli and possibly dodds

I think it will be unfair on MM especially if he moves to a club closer to his family, likewise with O'Connor.

Pope said recently that any tweets from Marshall are from someone else as he isn't on Twitter.

Like any fan wouldn't turn down a higher salary or long-term contract.

Marshall will probably leave. I would like him to stay but i think he is out of here.

O Connor is the main one for me but i suspect he is waiting to see what the main players do. If Marshall and Pope leave i suspect so will O Connor.

 

As for the rest of them..........

Once a contract runs out the player can talk do who they like and sign for whoever they like. We could have offered the better players a deal before the end of the season but chose not to. By delaying the offer we've given them the green light to spend a month looking for a better offer. Anyone offered more money closer to home would be daft to not consider it.

i cant see oconner staying!! it takes him 2-3 hours a day traveling each way. I think marshall has not got any intentions either after we got his career going again he said all this stuff about feeling loved at vale part but he has has a offer there for ages. Pope will go and so he should its a joke what we have offered him after what hes done. I just cant see many positives at the moment. Ben williamson is not good enough either and didnt have the brains to play off pope up front

Radio Stoke reported this morning that all-but-one of the out-of-contract players have been offered reduced terms......which if true, begs the question who is the one that hasn't - O'Connor or Marshall?
