This is a load of lies. Smurf cut the playing budget this season. Getting in loads of loans is not the same as buying good players on contracts

Are you for real? The football league restrictions imposed on us have meant we can't sign good players on good contracts. but let's not let that get in the way of a witch hunt.

Plus you think we don't pay for loans? Or the loan players wages ?

Pages CV - relegation to the 2nd div. next year relegation out of the league.

What he came out with on RS tonight about players not being able to play 2 games in a couple of days and how he thought a point was acceptable. We had a winger and a striker on the bench and he did not use them. It is just unbelievable.

Smurf needs to sit down with the backroom staff and tell them straight. Sort it or your leaving.

The last thing we need is a Chairman who makes a knee jerk decision.

A few seconds and we would have got a point that would have been really significant.

Page is probably a good coach but not ready for Management because he is a negative tactician.

Keep everything as it is Mr Chairman but change Page's mindset to play with an emphasis on attack.

Then at the end of the season sack Grew, Glover and if the new Manager doesn't want Page then him too.

Sorry Dave, but why when things are going **** up do you still come out with " give them a chance". It isn't even a win/win situation this time. You don't throw sponge to a drowning man.

It's only a short-term thing. With 5 games to go Smurf has to bring in a manager of some standing and just pay him to keep us up. It would be money well spent, as relegation will cost far more in the long term.

There are a few experienced managers out there right now. A 5 game contract with bonus if we stay up. Then when the choppy seas have calmed, Norman can pick a new manager to lead us in the long term.

For the sake of Port Vale being in league 1 next season I hope you are right

It is now to late to change Managers, with 5 games to go it is difficult to see anybody wanting to take it on. It is laughable the names mentioned on here, Rosler, McDermott etc. Where the hell is the money coming from?

So Smurf sacks Page & he approaches Rosler................ who may say no! So we move to plan B.

Now lets see................ What is Plan B?

Some have mentioned McDermott, Aspin......... who may say yes. How about newly sacked Malky Mackay?

Meanwhile we lose another game whilst we get a new manager in.

Can a new guy get something out of this squad that the 2 previous managers have failed to do?

Too many questions not enough answers!

Norman made it very clear months ago that next season's playing budget will be cut to reflect crowd size.

He also said at the time Micky left that any new Manager would have to work with Page.

My reaction to the first statement was that the guy knows nothing about retail selling. All that statement did was to kill fans enthusiasm and ensure crossword drop.

My reaction to the second statement is that any chance of a new Manager with a proven track record coming to the club is zilch.

I support Norman in that his intentions are good but he is an unlucky Chairman, although sometimes he creates his own bad luck with bad PR.

It's too late to change managers before the end of the season. All we can hope for is that RP manages to keep us up - somehow - and any changes can be put into place in the close season.

If that is the case and he does keep us up, it cannot be forgotten that it was him & his tactics that put in a situation that a great escape is needed

For those people saying it's too late to change your manager, Wigan have sacked their manager tonight. Come on Norman, give the supporters a lift for Saturday and get rid before it's too late, the new manager syndrome might kick in, just like when we played Barnsley earlier this season.
