The problem is Pope and Campion are fairly similar, not particularly mobile, so playing both relies of having pace and thrust throughout the rest of the team. Bradford showed this today.

Couldn't agree more. The worry is in Birchall's case that he had a hand in both goals so s certain to start against Brizzle.

Looking at the next four games we will do well to get 4 from the possible twelve. That is going by the last five performances with wrong team selection and tactics, negative ones.

Yes, topic title, changes are needed.

Maybe the second half 442 tactic with Pope and Campion and maybe one or both of the new signings getting on the pitch might be the change that is needed. But I doubt that Page will alter much.

I'm worried. If page is offered a contract were going to see the likes of Dickinson, Duffy and birchall again next year. I don't want to be watching them clowns any more.

 

As for page, tactically inept, poor team selection and a love of certain players. Very negative but can't keep clean sheets, struggling to see positives at the minute

Are you mad, pope was fine, I'm surprised he hasn't got concussion, it was his through ball to campion, for the penalty, not lines like he's supposed to do, it was pope, the target man, with a fantastic assist

I actually feel sorry for big norm, hes trying his best to drag this club to where it needs to be and it wont happen overnight. I only hope that as the OP has said, that in the summer we have a big ****ing clear out of the players who have underperformed , overhaul the backroom staff because I have a sneaky feeling that this underperforming has dean glover written all over it, and that we actually start getting quality in and not quantity. lets face it guys, when was the last time we had someone on the pitch who was exciting to watch and got you out of your seat because you knew he would make something happen when he got the ball?

Today had problems, but a battling performance and another building block, and what makes you think we should keep clean sheets against a team who scored 4 at Chelsea ? It had pretty good entertainment value, and many talking points. We cant win them all, but matched them well.

 

The positives are the 31 points from 21 games since Rob took over, and anything else will have to wait until the summer when he gets the chance to mould the team his own way.

 

Or you could just defect to Anfield or Stoke City and you might feel more at home there with the other moaners.

Moaners? Because I'm not happy with a dire performance against a decent side? So what if they put 4 past Chelsea that was a complete one off, if your happy with how were doing then keep clapping. 31 from 21 is ok but the honeymoon period is over and the fact is were playing negative football with one up top, can't defend and can't pick up points away from home.
