Can we revenge our home defeat? Will transfer talk affect our game? Will ex-Valiants Morsy and Raglan raise thier game against us? Or will Chesterfield have cup distractions? Plenty of variables, but the main thing is, can we maintain our current league position with a point or three?

We need a big central defender to mark their French centre forward, because I doubt we'll be able to stop crosses coming in. I think Remi Streete didn't play for Newcastle, because he was cup-tied? I'm no Robertson fan, but if we can't get Streete back, I'd go for him.

Personally I'd make one change and that would be Robertson for Duffy. In my opinion Robertson didn't deserve to be dropped on the first place and looked good with veseli. Id like us to bring say streete in but IMO Robertson is the best that we've got to play with veseli.

 

Agree, mate. What did Robbo do to cause Page to drop him, again? Yesterday Duffy did again what everyone and his dog know about him...he dithered and dallied every time he had the ball at his feet and gave the pass of the day to their player for them to go on and score! What do Page and Co see in Duffy as opposed to Robbo? Time we gave up on Duffy and let him go to where he belongs..Division 2. Most opponents have watched us in defence and as Veseli is playing out of his skin they know the obvious weak link is there for all to see. Just one of the frustrating things about Page.

The left wing against vale is unused, because people would much rather attack dicko and Duffy to Yates and veseli, if they've got a big centre forward Robertson has to play

Chesterfield are sure to score against the dodgy Vale defence so we must have a good finisher to score for us.

Against the Gills on Sat. Vale had 16 shots with 9 on target, so many chances went begging because we were lacking a player that can find the net.

Pope or a Lee Hughes type would have had a field day. Campion knows where the net is. He should be given a chance at Chesterfield and subbed by an 'impact player' if not good enough.
