Personally I'd make one change and that would be Robertson for Duffy. In my opinion Robertson didn't deserve to be dropped on the first place and looked good with veseli. Id like us to bring say streete in but IMO Robertson is the best that we've got to play with veseli.

 

Duffs wants dropping anyway after making an error like that.

Mrs AR just asked where Chesterfield is to which I replied 'in Derbyshire'.

 

'Oh!' she mused 'Up north then!?' (North to my darling wife being any place beyond The Watford Gap)

 

'Are they any good?' she asked to which I've replied 'I'll let you know on Saturday around 5pm GMT :)

Chesterfield is indeed a popular away day amongst the Vale faithful. Still never been their new ground before, though did see us at the old Saltergate on three occasions, including the memorable and classic 5-0 demolition job on them on our last ever visit there. We truly put to rest our abysmal away record there that day.

 

Ironically, it was Rico and Craig Davies who ran riot that day with poor Rob Page at the back for the Spireites at the time.

 

Plenty of good pubs in Chesterfield, always enjoy visits there, can see why it's a popular away day. Think we took a good 2,000+ there during our promotion season and circa 1,500 season before that; reckon a good 1,200-1,400 will make the journey on Saturday maybe?

Yes ticket office outside of away end but it might be cash only.

I was told that we had stopped selling them yesterday but called the ticket office and they are on sale until 2pm

 

there werent many left and looking at where I am sat it looks like a decent turnout

Should be a good following but I got my ticket on the day last time we were there and we took a lot more than we'll take tomorrow so no one should worry about getting a ticket.

Yes last time we went was the Easter Monday in our promotion season, and we didn't sell out then, so plenty of room for us all.
