Yes last time we went was the Easter Monday in our promotion season, and we didn't sell out then, so plenty of room for us all.

 

Didn't we sell out that day? I'm not sure where anyone else would have stood/sat?

You'll have a job, it was completely full behind the goal. The overspill section on the side stand was used and had about 150 in there. The end behind the goal holds 1900 and we had over 2000 there that day.

I did the same too. We'd sold about 1500 tickets before the day itself, but with it being over the Easter weekend there was limited chance to buy tickets. We beat Cheltenham on the Friday, after which Chesterfield realised we'd be taking loads more, hence why they opened the side section.

Seem to remember being in the 'Derby Tup' pub just up from the ground for that Easter Monday game and it was full of Vale fans - great atmosphere.
