'Northern Soul' is out on DVD.Ive just bought the soundtrack for my sister.She said the DVD is available at Morrisons.You can get it through Amazon also.She was told it's more about the drug culture at the time so wasn't bothered about getting it.I also got her the book ' Northern Soul'.Some good photos in it.

 

Many thanks for the info, I did some searching and there's a few trailers for it on You tube. Looks as though it's based on Wigan casino/from 1974 which alas was after my time. I'll ask Santa for it.

Abercrombie in Hanford, Bird in Hand in Trent Vale and there was another bosting pub on way to Mow Cop. Terraced house where the old gal used to go downstairs in her cellar with jugs to fetch your ale! Conner remember the name but someone out there must have frequented it too?

Torch not opening up again but a few re-unions at Tunstall Floral Hall next year.Keith Minshull DJing in January.Sadly sold out.

 

I see they are opening the Barrel again in Tunstall Square as a Northern Soul pub.
