Saw Bob Marley at Bingley Hall in '78, mega version of Exodus to start, incredible concert, Steele Pulse were first up.

Me too:D I believe there is some talk of the Torch opening up again.Not sure where.My sis has just spent the weekend in Blackpool.Northern Soul All nighters at the Tower Balllroom.She said there were 18 year olds and 70 year olds on the same dance floor.:D

 

Torch not opening up again but a few re-unions at Tunstall Floral Hall next year.Keith Minshull DJing in January.Sadly sold out.

Any idea of the dates. I was really good friends with both John and Keith, particularly John as he was the same age as me, I haven't seen him for at least 25 years.

 

I went to a Wheel re-union at the original venue in Manchester about 4/5 years ago with some of the old cronies, we couldn't trace John. As you say there were old and young on the dance floor but not me! There's supposed to be a new film released called "Northern Soul", do you know anything about it.

'Northern Soul' is out on DVD.Ive just bought the soundtrack for my sister.She said the DVD is available at Morrisons.You can get it through Amazon also.She was told it's more about the drug culture at the time so wasn't bothered about getting it.I also got her the book ' Northern Soul'.Some good photos in it.
