you would think that , Loft ,Jones, griff, Jmw , hughes, all going plus the other fringe players we would have some decent wages to offer for five QUALITY players , which is the least we need . but we don't need journeymen.

Having a reduced budget dictates economies have to be made, but I suppose if all five were better players than we had before the quality of the first X1 would be higher.

 

It's a huge ask isn't it?

 

I said last week, that for me, only 4-5 of the current squad would make my ideal starting X1 so on that criteria I would have hoped for 6-7 players plus a few reserves. It ain't gonna happen.

5 top quality players that stay injury free may well be ok, however can we attract them with our budget? the players report back for training in about 3 weeks don't they? big few weeks if ask me.
