Players starting to blame protesters

What did he actually say? That the protests might have had an effect? Isn't that true? They might have. Give the guy a break - he just won player of the season, so no-one can question his efforts, he's put a decent shift in all season. Whether they should have had an effect is a different question altogether but given that everyone is moaning that the players are mentally soft, it's hardly front page news that something like that might affect their performance, is it.

Some of them were more than happy to just turn up for 90 minutes and take home their paychecks. Hardly any were up for fight. It's what Cullerton has always said, we lack leaders when Owen isn't on the pitch.

Mick Cullerton has talked so much sense this season he should have got an award at last nights presentations!!

Never agreed with the protests and yes the one at barnet before the game affected them badly because they played terrible

Or could it be that they played like they could not give a toss

What protest at Barnet? I was there and saw no protest

After Saturdays game they can ALL **** off. I back players to the hilt but that lot can ALL go now for all I care, I wouldn't miss a single one.

It was quite simply the worst display I've seen us put in for years. They simply did not give a toss. Have they given a toss for the last few months?

Mark Grew is not always my cup of tea but by god did he say exactly what I was thinking after that shower!

Luckily it was still a cracking day out drinking round Leicester Square and Camden.

I think he is taking the **** as there wasn't one.

If McCombe really has suggested they might have had an effect he might well want to **** off with the other lazy, workshy, good for nothing ****ers and not come back.

Stupid to even suggest it now, if it was they should have said so when they started not at the end of the season when they have failed as a collective group. Being the best of a **** poor bunch doesn't make him a world beater though of course he has improved imeasurably this season.

****ing sick of hearing from 'Grewy', the 'Horse' and players such as Yates, McCombe etc who have failed. If they were half as ****ing good as practicing what they talk about we would be promoted by now.

If I've filled in the blanks correctly, that's the most accurate post I've read all season.

OMG, it couldn't have been worse than Barnet at home - could it?

but they were good enough for six months.....cant remember them being lazy work shy good for nothing ****ers after the game at stockport.

I'm not sure six months is accurate. I would say more like three.

In October we posted one win only. November was a good month, although we should count ourselves fortunate not to have lost at Dartford. December was the start of the slide.

No discipline.

No respect for themselves, the fans, the staff.

We watched them training on a few occasions, to much p11ssing about hardly any application.

To much of an in Club drink culture.

So blame yourselves lads. This Club needs re-vamping from top to bottom its run like a Sunday League Club. It needs Mo and his team or similar to turn it around.

Bratt and his scrotes are out of their depth.

In my opinion the players have messed up themselves they wouldn't play for gannon, got unfit then by the time he'd gone there was no chance of them catching the promotion chasing pack. So the players need to take a long hard look at themselves.

The board are a joke they should not have employed Gannon in the first place & got investement in during their tenure so the blame should lie at there door also. I just hope it slams shut on them on 1st June.
