I wouldn't mind seeing Shukes in and I really can't wait for Tomlin to come back from injury. However I'd go with - Neal, Yates, Robertson, Chilvers, Dickinson, JMW, Griff, Lines, Loft, Dodds and Pope. We have to hit them on the break with Myrie Williams and hopefully he will cross the ball. Dodds in the whole; make a 5 in midfield when defending and a 4-4-1-1 in attack. Dickinson an obvious replacement for Jones. Pope is lucky to be included but with our direct play, he just has to. Oh and the JMW and Adams confrontation was nothing so there's no reason whatsoever for him to be dropped. Prediction - 1-1, Loft to score the equaliser.

Stat-wise, Crawley have scored in every single league and cup match so far this season, but kept just three clean sheets. Their home scorelines have all finished tight too, although whether that is always an accurate representation of game pattern is questionable. They are due to not score at some point. Hopefully that will be on Tuesday (cue a 5-4 bonanza...)

Well the way we been playing with possibly 4 out of the 11 performing consistently,so who can we pick ,do we stick with the players who r quite frankly not performing or give a squad player a chance to show what they r all about .

Folk can say what they want but if players start games like we did yesterday ( slowly ) then we have no chance .

But bringing in the players you have stated will not improve things. We have a very average squad. Looking to the likes of dodds and shuker is a waste of time. They are worse than the 11 starting the games, and the majority of them shouldn't be playing league 1 football.

...I agree. 2 up front has hardly been a roaring success since last January. But Adams seems to prefer this - despite all the great results and performances pre-xmas last season, albeit in a lower division with only 1 up front. With this in mind, I would give Pope a run up front on his own, but would use Loft and JMW as the wide men with orders to get the crosses in!

Crawley are always playing themselves down in the media about the size of their club and their finances.

 

I think we have got the the smallest squad in this division, or even in the Football League.

 

The majority of players we bring in here we have brought from a reserve team [...] they have all come from teams when they are not playing because we have not got the resources to go out and bring someone from someone else's first team.

 

I'm not buying it. They paid £100,000 for Emile Sinclair before the transfer deadline.

 

Did anyone ever find out who owned them / who was funding them during the Steve Evans non-league era?
