don't be silly cheeky, it's a statement of fact, been there done that wont do it again, they not only expect good luck money but a lifetime guarantee, bigotry doesn't come into it,it's how they conduct their business deals, just a plain statement of fact, try it sometime.

You've generalised an entire continent of conducting their business in the same way.

There's 4.41 billion people in Asia.

It's not fact. You're just racist.

Firstly economics. Now a lesson in prejudice.

It was always going to be a difficult start to the season for Vale. But after the Wolves game the fixtures do look to be a little easier. There is no such thing as an easy game but as I say they look a little easier after that game.Just keep the faith and support the boys.

a very fair assumption, asians rarely deliver, they always want "good luck money",in other words a sizeable discount,if you don't believe me try to sell them a car at your asking price.

You are so wrong on so many levels..... bartering [good luck money] is a way of life here in Asia, its just a reason to get a better price, its part and parcel of business. I have never paid the asking price for a car and very rarely sold one at the asking price. I purchased a notebook from PC World a couple of years ago and bartered the price, I didnt get the price reduced but they threw in some goodies to make the sale. The last time I purchased a new car [many years ago] I got the price reduced and loads of stuff thrown in just to make the deal.... Rule of thumb in Thailand ask the price, offer half, they laugh and come down, you laugh and go up, meet somewhere in between.

It may be your experience, a bad one by the sounds of it, but its a broad statement to make and inaccurate.

If you buy something here in Asia [unless there is a specified warranty/guarantee] there is none at all... so if you buy something and it doesnt work or breaks when you get home its tough, you dont get a refund or exchange. There is no CAB or trading standards.... the strange thing is they have similar views to you about us..... but they dont post on here.
