He was recovering from a bad injury when we signed him but he is fit now. Cheltenham have no more money than us but they don't have delusions of grandeur and sign competent league 1 players. My post last night explained the folly of signing Prem youngsters on loan on contracts that allow them to be recalled at Christmas. Lose lose scenario. They spend the first quarter of the season getting caught out adjusting to men's football. Then if they are playing well in the second quarter of the season they get recalled by their owning club. Or if they are not playing well get left St the Vale. If they have been recalled we waste the January window signing other Prem kids and the bloody scenario starts all over again. Meanwhile we end up heading into league 2.

Apparently he wasn't good enough for us to sign permanently....but eh we've got uche,lofty and willow to get us out of the mire .... trust the process 😁🤞😂

If you want to keep David Flitcroft at the club because you THINK he’s making you money, then keep him the hell away from ANYTHING to do with the football side and DO NOT under ANY circumstances, give him another transfer window. I know we were crying out for extra personnel, but I wasn't all that inspired with the Gayle talk Every Stoke fan I know laughed at the mere mention of his name, and just looking at what he's done... 3 goals in 50 games for Stoke, just 8 goals in 5 years? It would have been a hefty wage for what would be "a good character for the dressing room" by all accounts. The one thing he always had in his locker was pace, his last few years, he registered more offsides than shots in games. He's been out of contract for weeks, and there wasn't really a host of clubs desperate to sign him. Many won't agree, but I think it would have been a very expensive mistake

My bet would still be Troy Deeney. Been around the block, bit of a prickly character on the pitch and puts himself about. Got 4 goals for Forrest green so better than any of our current lot and must be fairly fit. Let’s face it, it’s stick or twist time and there isn’t much in the pack. Deeney is exactly the type we need atm, a fighter. Moore has to ruffle a few feathers and hope he gets a response.

And I've read enough to believe that, Champions League nights apart, their famous atmosphere is a myth. You've only got to see the crowd - tourists more interested in taking pictures than making an atmosphere. That's what happens when locals are priced out and the club don't care who buys the tickets as long as they pay up, sit down and shut up. Even Klopp has referred to it more than once - is he wrong?

Until you & your mate came on here, I had no problem with Huddersfield Town FC. Even though you are are nothing club, I use to enjoy our away days at Huddersfield but no disrespect, I hope you get relegated this season
