Unless we get a league 2 team in one of the cups I'd be surprised if we see him at VP next season IMHO.

Obviously MA doesn't think Ash is worth an improved offer than the contract that's already on the table.

 

Tbh Adams normally calls it right. He makes an offer & the player can take it or leave it. I wonder if Richards, Rigg, Tomlinson & Artell wish they had accepted the managers offer last season?

By the sounds of it he was trying to be too greedy and its backfired on him. Smurf said something about a player who left us yesterday because he was being too greedy last night.

 

He would have had an improved offer than the deal he was on last season, but I cant honestly see him attracting another league 1 club, so he will probably end up in League 2 on less money than we offered him for League 1.

 

TBH though I arnt bothered one way or another if he stays or goes!

He did ok last season but I`m not convinced he would offer much in league 1 as his record suggests, and he was no better than Rigg.
