Vincent bombed at Colchester, injuries and form, I would have thought the chance of some stability would have encouraged him to accept the decent rise he was offered..

I liked Vincent, if form did dip considerably, would of liked him to stay another year, but there is better players out there to easily replace him...

I don't think any of the players out of contract are indispensable. If we want to stay up and push on in League 1 then we need to make significant but gradual changes, whilst appearing to show loyalty to those who have got us there.

 

I do think that the inevitable senario of some not resigning may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Greedy. Turned down Rotherham last time for money and has done the same to vale. Good riddens IMO was excellent to start with and then really poor. Isn't good enough for league 1.

Spot on that man.

 

He is a Black Country lad and we gave him the opportunity to move back to the Midlands and play regular football.

He's had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus in a short career and I think he's made the wrong decision but he is replaceable and better to know now that in another month.

My guess is that he is very much sorted for a new deal somewhere. I'm not concerned by this, he was very good initially but turned dross

not overly concerned - had a good start to the season but then went missing

 

From what i've heard I dont think the lads in the dressing room will miss him too much either

I spoke to ashley as soon as final whistle went vs northampton.while everywhere went mental,he sat in the steps,unmoved,relaxed and calm.had a quick chat with andrew at that point and even he was bouncing,ash just seemed to me,if he knew his time was up.

my gut instinct then seems right.
