I know everyone is talking about signing players from a higher league but there are some good players in our own who may be more affordable. How many times have the opponents had 1 or 2 decent players who we have all said wouldn't mind signing him. Maybe nows the chance particularly from teams who aren't going up.

I liked the look of Mark Randall from Chesterfield. he ran the midfield when we played them away and he dicated everything, looked a good passer in the middle similar to Burge

Brown has been playing full back. I agree on Jones and worded my post wrong. Im thinking ahead of myself if Jones leaves.

Davids would be class but would have to offer a coaching role I expect. Wellens and Davids in the middle would be pretty good in League One!

 

Apparently Edgar made the players call him 'Mr Davids', even on the pitch. I can't quite see that going down well with some of the more,er shall we say light-hearted Vale players.
