(Realistic) potential signings

At the quiz last night Wildes said that there was a match at Vale Park yesterday made up of trialists from bigger clubs such as West Ham. Probably looking for players for the development squad we're putting together.

Ryan Lowe (Mk Dons) experienced forward who knows where the net is

Krisytan Pearce (Notts County) pacey centre back we have been crying out for

Marlon Pack (Cheltenham) has a good eye for a pass and would be a good addition

Jaques Magahoma (Burton) would be a good option to go will JMW on the opposite wing

Jake Wright (Oxford) One of the small amount of CB to have Pope in their back pocket last season

Matt Tubbs (Bournmouth) not getting a sniff at Bournmouth and knows whe the goals is

I honestly believe we will be pleasantly surprised by the signings we make.

That being said, i reckon we will be looking at bigger signings than those youve mentioned here.

Alan Judge from Notts County would be a superb signing and a real sign of intent from the club. Consistently been one of the best players in League One for past 2 seasons.for a footballing centre half Gary Liddle of Notts County would be a very good signing, but would command a fee. From bigger clubs Chuks Aneke who was on loan at Crewe or Brad Inman are both great prospects.they're Arsenal and Newcastle players though. There are lots of excellent u21 players at prem league clubs about to be released. I have seen Ben Davies for Derby u21 many times this season, a definate no no for me.

I was in an estate agents in Hanley today.

Edgar Davids picked up the details for a flat in Trubshaw Cross.

That's all I'm saying.

Its a little known fact that Edgar is a qualified plasterer and has a mean eye for picking up terraced houses at a snip.

He gets his old pals in on mate's rates to keep the costs down then flogs the houses for a tidy profit.

Clarence Seedorf is a very proficient electrician, Patrick Kluivert does the tiling and Phillip Cocu does the labouring.

Just seen that Hamza Bencherif has been released by Notts County. I always rated him when we played against Macc (although he maybe stood out because he was in a poor side). I know we've shown a bit of interest in him before. Thoughts?

I thought this thread was titles "Realistic" potential signings?

Lowe - Wouldn't come to us.

Pearce - Possibly if County don't offer him a deal

Pack - A fee would be needed

Magahoma - Will end up in the Championship

Wright - Not sure what his contract situation is so possible

Tubbs - Bournemouth turned down a bid of £600k+ from Rotherham in Jan, we aren't gonna be spending that kind of money.
