If we'd played Burge & Morsy together in the middle we would have been promoted by the Rochdale match instead of at Wycombe.

 

Griff did well on his return to Vale Park. He struggled to hold a place in a Lg 1 team. Would he do any better at Vale?

This interests me aswell with us having academy ambitions he has coached with Derby county while playing but states he wants carry on playing. If he wants to play, we could also offer him a coaching role as apparently Derby have been nick named the crewe of the championship as they have focused on the academy like Vale are hoping now.

It is in today's Sun i'm afraid. It has been reported Micky is talking to him as he has been released by Northampton. I wonder if he'd get a good reception if he did sign for us?!

This better be a joke!! Not only is the guy a turncoat but is not good enough for league1.. Released by Crewe when they got promoted.. Now released by Northampton who could well get promoted and so clearly don't rate him either way and has played the season in the conference.. If Wildes wants playoffs at the least then Artel is not the way to go about it

I was at the Livingston v Raith Rovers match yesterday, Ex-vale player Joe Cardle was amazing, but Raiths out of contract striker Brian Graham scored twice to make it 27 for the season. I know it's only the scottish 1st division, but i think the lad has what it takes.

Wildes said that if we were in league 1 we'd be looking at Championship quality players (or at least players that have played at that level)...and so on. I'd be shocked if Adams was looking at non-league carthorses like Artell if we can have better.

Gareth Roberts is a fantastic defender he was a brick at derby I went watch derby many times last year and he was my player of the season. He would be fantastic for vale but can't see him dropping to league 1
