Final Home game v Northampton - Season 2012/13

I think another job that needs doing is to ensure that season ticket seats are correctly marked and up to date.

As far as I can tell quite a few seats have 'season ticket' stuck on them but are no longer used.

My bro and a mate have their names on their seats also.'Sponsored Seat'.That was a while back that was implemented.

There were quite a few empty seats in front of us in the Lorne St. Could be season ticket holders that didn't turn up. Looking at some of the threads people have stated that they couldn't make the game tonight for various reasons, makes you wonder what we could have got in there last night.

Northampton could be rammed solid with another offer like last nights.

The bycars was more than 3 quarters full mate, and there's was more than 200 people standing in the rear of the paddock so I would also estimate last nights crowd to be more like 12500/13000

i looked at the bycars from railway stand and said to ma mate was great 2 see fans in there however if you pushed all the fans together we thought it was half full

The only way to ensure we can sell every seat is to ensure that people sit in the seat on their numbered ticket. Good luck in enforcing that!
Not used to this sort of problem, but if it persists, all tickets will have to be numbered. Once people expect a full house, or close, they usually follow the rules since the alternative is chaos. I am glad I am not a steward though.

I said this last night but if the price is right we need to set up an on-line booking system so that fans can pick their seats on-line, as at the theatre, etc., and then sit in their correct seats.

This would prevent queuing at the ticket office, the mad panic at the ground, enable folk to choose 2-3 seats together, and the unsavoury atmosphere that results from another person sitting in your seat.

Do it Vale.

I never thought i would be reading a thread about people not being able to get three seats together!! Long may it continue

U9 ticket didnt have seat numbers on them so where were they supposed to sit

?

That was my point, Tim. All tickets would need to be numbered and folk would have to sit in that seat. Vale fans are used to wandering in at the last minute and sitting where they like. Folk would need to leave the pub before 2.50 and make sure they get to the ground in good time or there will be chaos again.

Next week at Rochdale the tickets say unreserved seating on them so I can see similar problems there.
