Final Home game v Northampton - Season 2012/13

The concourse facilities struggled a bit as well.In the Paddock it isn't ideal having everyone congregate up in the corner at half-time who wants a drink/pie/cig/wee.

You really don't want to get those things mixed up.

Think you're right about getting there early. There are obviously valid reasons for some people getting there close to the kick off but far too many left it too late to find a suitable seat. Don't think many people realised it would be so crowded, so I guess people will turn up earlier for the Northants game.

One of the problem with insisting on seating by numbers is that you don't really have any choice where you sit. We were lucky on Friday and got good numbered seats (even though we didn't have to sit in them) but I'd be pretty annoyed if we were just allocated seats and had to sit behind a pillar! The best thing is that it was such a brilliant evening that I don't think the seating chaos will put too many off, especially if the price is right.

Surely restricted view seat tickets are marked as such and priced accordingly, and can be avoided if other tickets are available. Ideally of course, as when picking a ST, you should be able to pick your seats from a plan, but that takes time and is best done on-line. Maybe soon or when we are in the Championship, before then patience, ant the club will have to state a policy of which seat to use. Surely we have had all-ticket railway stand matches before?

Regarding tickets for any match if you know which seat or row that you want there really shouldn't be a problem asking for that particular seat/ row.I do when we go to away matches.Row A no thanks unless it's at the back.Just a thought.

Think at the end of the day 30% of the fans who were there friday won't be on a cold Tuesday next season, so this isn't something we need to worry about too much. However IF the lardies do get relegated this year and we can make a good go of it in L1 then maybe the fan base in the city will start to swing a little bit. Don't get me wrong in the long term this would be a very nice issue to have. But currently I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Surly with online ticketing were going to be buying seats off plan? This makes all ticket possible and best chance to fill the ground.

if the system is nearly ready, why not test it out with this match - unless we have to move to different turn styles etc when your printing off your own tickets. All the ones I've used are always barcode based.

I would love to see VP actually full with every seat taken - goes one better than what we have achieced already - which was amazing.

There are a lot of restricted view seats in the Railway Stand that nobody wants to sit in. Enforcing numbered seats would be difficult due to this and also because culturally people have the pick of where they want to sit. A lot of people can and do move seats at half time. I haven't sat in my season ticket seat in years.

The stand is getting completed during the close season, it'll be the new family enclosure - I'm sure PW has already said this...

He has I am not sure why its being debated. There is going to be a new shop on the hamil the building is already there. Then the lorne street will be completed becoming a new family stand. So it is going to be finished. Which is in my eyes the true end to the dark years. Just it will look strange half being new and the other with faded seats. BUT atlast :).

I said this last night but if the price is right we need to set up an on-line booking system so that fans can pick their seats on-line, as at the theatre, etc., and then sit in their correct seats.

This would prevent queuing at the ticket office, the mad panic at the ground, enable folk to choose 2-3 seats together, and the unsavoury atmosphere that results from another person sitting in your seat.

Do it Vale.

Paul Wildes is bringing this in.
