Well, season is well and truely over. Back to league two. The inevitable 'rebuild' and 'go again'.

    Walters played well. 

    Their first 2 goals were down to poor defending and that's happened all season

    Safe trip home everyone and well done for getting to the last 7...further than Spurs, Villa, Newcastle, Man U and Liverpoo... and the Mighty Potters!

    Chelsea are world champions, squad value of over £1,000,000,000. They should be winning 7-0 against a team of free signings who are bottom of League One.

    Just to emphasize, Chelsea's squad value is 9 zeros more than ours. If Carol had that money then she could afford to give every fan at Vale Park a free matchday pie for every game for the next 2,000 seasons.

    Gulf in class is massive, hoped we could keep it to 5 or below but the breaks favored them.

    They spend 1.5 billion quid on players/that squad,, puts things into perspective.

    No unrealistic ideas from me. It was always going to happen. But our lads out there today don't deserve to be at this club whether it's Chelsea or Cheltenham. They are not fit to wear the port vale shirt. They have also been given a fairly easy ride from fans given our league efforts.

    Carol, please listen to Johnny Brady and Johnny Rudge and don't be taken in by football charlatans again. They wasted so much of your money. 

    Forget football regulators and bodies, listen to football people! 

    ...and above all, listen to the loyal season ticket holders of PVFC! We are the backbone of this club and we love this club more than anything else on earth, so don't dismiss us or our opinions.

    Hard not to be disappointed with that. Yes, I know the gulf in class is huge and I wasn't expecting fireworks but what I did expect was every single player to run their taters off, fight for every ball and let them know they were in a game and I don't think we did any of those things, at least not enough players did.  We have built a very unlikeable squad, most of which couldn't give two shits about this club and our incredible fans.  Too many are too soft.  Big summer ahead otherwise it could be another season of struggle as there is no place in League 2 for players who aren't willing to battle.  

    On the plus side, the travelling fans were an absolute credit.

    We got the pasting I expected us to get. But we did much better against City not that long ago in the FA Cup who are a better side.

    I think most of us are just looking forward to the summer and hopefully a massive rebuild from goalkeeper to strikers.
