Just for the record Osh

Were u there at Watford in Xmas 94 when we lost to 4-3 to watford in the fog and Kevin Kent scored? I was.

Where u at Cambridge in Feb 94 when we lost 1 nil? I was

Where you at Yeovil in aug 2007 when we lost 1 nil?

Were u at Blackpool in Oct 1993 when we won 3-1 and because of the amount of vale fans there we only got in at half time.

Were you at Chesterfield when we won 5-0 under Mickey Adams. I was

Were you at vale in 83 against Halifax when Southall was out of this world. I was

Were you at Everton when bogie scored the last minute screamer? I was

That's to a name just a few of the top of my head. Never had a season ticket always lived in Leicestershire but a vale fan till I die.

Yes

Been a Vale fan since 1974

Home and away

I now live in Bristol and do 10 home, 10 away.

M8 we played a team today who paid £1.6bn and we couldnt lay a glove on them.

They are THE world club champions for a reason.

We're you there today...??

I know we were playing against a quality side with some amazing players, but there are still some basic things we could have done better. To leave ourselves so open from our kick off was crazy, everyone chasing the ball, it breaks down, we leave ourselves short as they break down our left and force a corner that they score from. We’ve got a keeper flapping for at least 2 goals. Gordon not strong enough on the second, should never have been out muscled there. Time and again they were able to pick a pass out to a forward in front of our back 5, why we had no centre midfielder sitting a bit deeper to screen there I don’t know. We weren’t nasty enough, I’m sure at one point Gabriel was patting their players arse like he was mates. Magloire shouldn’t be near the first team.

Maybe that’s all a bit harsh given the opposition, but I’ve said it for months, we have no characters in this team. No balls. The heart has been ripped out and replaced with nice looking footballers playing at looking like modern day footballers with the bling and tattoos, instead of being willing to do the other side of the game and dig deep. I can’t wait to see this squad ripped apart and rebuilt.

Your not being harsh a true reflection of your thoughts that are correct with mine also and a lot of others 👍👍

Outclassed as I expected us to be. What did surprise me though was the lack of physicality we showed. We didn't compete with them in any challenges.

Tactically naieve from us to try to play out from the back. We looked amateurish and most of the time ended with Gauci hoofing it back to them. We'd have been better trying to outbattle them.

Great to get this far but an embarrassing end. Apart from a couple of players the rest looked devoid of ability or heart

No Osh unable to get a ticket as not a a season ticket. But I don't get to many games living in Leicestershire and a family plus you can watch a lot of games on TV. I agree we played a team which are way above the level (one of the best on the world)we are used to playing and to  )be honest keeping the score to less than 5 wound have been a good result. I was a Highbury in 98 when we more than matched drew nil nil we with an arsenal team that went onto win the double albeit we had a far better team then. I was jokin to some some friends it could be double figures when they said Chelsea not all that good at the minute. Just disappointed the way it turned out however we have done amazingly well to get this far. But overall just really disappointed we with the season bit at least we have a club when 6-7 years we could could have gobe onto non league and out of business. But unfortunately I still live on the 1990s and believe we should be playing champ football l!!

See you had a go slagging me off but I love far away, too. Yet I got a ticket and I went today.

I'm also a realist.

That's more striking when I consider we probably are alot bigger and psyical side than Chelsea

I think you’re probably underestimating how strong and fit these players actually are to be playing at such a high level of football. But I agree with the previous point that we didn’t lay a glove on them.

I don't have a season ticket

We’ve all got different circumstances and we all support the Vale, None of us should be falling out between ourselves.
One thing every fan can agree on is regardless of today, This season has been a disgrace and the majority of the squad should be shipped out where possible and give JB a chance with players who can be bothered.

Let's hope this club finds it's spine and will to win with a physical approach , it will need it in league two. Outclassed today due to the bridge in quality but still an obvious lack of physical presence by most. Gabriel aside.

Once the relegation is confirmed, which must only be a couple of games away, I think we should ship out some (if not all) the lads on a short term contract. Gray, archer, Magloire, Hernandez, Ward, sherif. Literally no point them being here.
