  What i would like to see are two more strikes
  some fast defenders (one of Debrah qualities and is probably why we kept him so long was the fact that he was our quickes defender.)

Without doubt Crosedale will be a key to getting out of League 2 ! As Stockport thought maybe League 1 is too much of a step up! His last few games have been great.

Dont be surprised if Peterborough don't buy Archer; they wanted him this season and we sneaked in to get him.

I wasn’t a big fan of Archer but hopefully we purchase him, his free kicks last night were ace and he’s a player we can further develop.

As for Hernandez……. Get him fit and sign him up!!

Bring in  = Players with some desire to win football matches, wear the badge with pride and show some bloody aggression (with in the rules of the game- for the most part 🤣)

I think the competition has increased, those highlights on his personal video will widen the interest. Maybe a couple more this season would really raise his profile, all down to hard work practices.

As an unpopular opinion I also think Joe Gauci will come good. He has made some excellent saves and overall for a young keeper he is pretty decent. Yes his kicking is an area for development and he has had a few shockers. But I think he will only get better. I would also look to loan him for a further season.

I wouldn't be opposed to Gauci coming back for another seasons loan

I will be amazed if Brady doesn't sign a player who is currently at Northampton as well

I read that Barnsley have to make cuts next season and that McGoldrick hasn't been spoken to about a new contract which he doesn't seem happy about

He will turn 39 during next season but would anyone take him coming here on a 12mth deal.... probably pie in the sky but just a name that looks like he will be available

Chopper. Two questions.

Do you see the Vale pushing for an immediate return to div 1 ?

What length of contract do you see the above players being offered ?

 

We have already heard that the Vale need to have a ' plan for the football club .' Not sure what that will be but it was also mentioned about development of young players and making their way into first team plans. In other words, developing our own first team players rather than transfer fees etc every year. Will the plan be agreed and in place before decisions are made ?

Cannot see any sense in offering the above players two year deals and then see us getting promoted with several players tied into contracts. One year deals, if offered, may not be accepted and they may look for a two year elsewhere for their own security.
