I know many fans had written him off but I can confirm that I wasn't one of them as I always thought he had potential it was about him gaining confidence and showing it which he certainly has done recently. I think he is still raw but once he gets over that he will be a very good player IMO.

I was and I admit I was wrong.  Eating massive amounts of humble pie 🤣

In our position you HAVE GOT TO go for the 3 points no matter what imo,if we lose we lose but we lose having a right go at a team,as it stands now you might as well get no points having a crack at it than 1 point being defensive when you can still concede a goal being put under constant pressure

Brady hasn't got the tools in the box to go for it, the midfield was so weak  they couldn't play the strikers in, bottom line is the squad we have is not good enough so it's a matter of hanging on and hoping for the best.

Wasn't Rhys Walters a revelation when he came on....💩👎

Still can't see many positives from that game other than Waine and Stockley who I felt won every header and another player who has been massively underused when fit this season, been criminal that the likes of Brown and Faal have been getting more game time than him.  Early doors with Brady but I am not liking what I am seeing so far, better players leaving than those that stay, Brown is useless and will be in league 2 next year with someone before dropping down to have a career in non league.

We are 10 points from safety and set up at home to a bottom 4/5 team with 4 centre backs, Kyle John I rate but offers very little going forward, for me a RCB and Campbell while did nothing wrong seemed another centre back been asked to play as a full back.  Taking Waine off for Brown was a very poor decision, Gray and Waine should have been the front 2 for the last 10/15 mins, we were hanging on for that point, defending with 11 throughout injury time, no idea why we were bringing everyone back to defend every set play late on, no outlet whatsoever.

3 home games under Brady against Exeter, Wimbledon and Burton, 1 point gained, not sure I agree with those who say we are looking better, just wait until we play the better teams at home later in the season.  A truly awful season that still still has 3 months to run, time to play some of the kids.

You can't lay the blame on Brady for this. He's made 1 or 2 odd decisions but most managers do. He's inherited a complete sheeiteshow. Any team in League 1 would struggle with that midfield. You could argue he could have played Walters but I can understand him wanting experience.

This isn't like Moore coming in when we had a real chance of getting out of trouble. To even encourage anyone to sign for us must have taken some doing.

Burton have had all season to fine tune their squad and way of playing and that's the best they could come up with. We've had to completely resculptutre our way of playing, team and formation mid-season, so it's not massively surprising that we're not free flowing. We'll go down this season and then the real work starts in terms of building a new squad and way of playing.

Whoooahhhh!! Steady on a minute.

You say he’s inherited a shitshow.
If that’s the case then why were fans saying any decent manager should be getting a tune out of this lot, after Moore left?

I think there is quality there. What I do think though is that they are so looked after that it’s easier to pick up their money. No accountability. It comes from the very top.

You also state that any team would struggle with that midfield.
Croasdale was last seasons player of the year. Clean sweeped the awards. Walters is supposedly the next big thing. Garrity captain. Byers “cheat code”.
The problem is that the last manager and now this, loves Ojo at this level. And the bloke is utter <ovf censored> garbage.
Once you play Ojo in the middle of the park, his mates around him have to do way more work than they are used to.

Brady got an 18 month contract.
I honestly believe that was to see what happens this season and see how the fanbase reacts.

If you were in charge of the club would you trust yourself to give this man a promotion budget on what you’ve seen so far?
I wouldn’t.

Sometimes have a feel for something rather than blind hope.

Midweek was dire.
Today, Burton Albion could have scored 5 easily away at us.

I will look forward to his next post match interview where he will “roll up his sleeves” and “fight for good people” and then during the game stand there like a reactive managerial clown, asking questions to coaching staff who don’t have a clue and shouldn’t be here.

Don’t let Matt Hancock and his politics fool you………. We’re in a massive mess.

I can seriously see us being a Shrewsbury this time next season.
It’s so obvious on the eye.

Moore seemed happy enough to pick teams and hope (key word is hope) to pick up enough wins to stay up. Didn't he say that the clubs ambitions were not about anything but survive. Seems that the whole club has gone into a 'this will do' attitude this season.

Any forward with pace has potential

I agree u can see it in him

Fans backing him will make a big difference

Difference with Waine is that fans will back him. Anyone putting that much effort in regardless of talent will be liked down the vale

You can still go for it. A point is useless. If the tactic is to just try and hang on against Wimbledon and burton at home then I give up

Frustrating that we struggle to find players of this ability.

Shade was born in Birmingham and has played for Swindon, Solihull Moors and Burton signed  from Eastleigh. If they can turn down £1m obviously know how to deal with players and their contracts. He’s a Saint Kitts and Nevis international, how many clues do ppl need

That is way to soon,i mean you have even beaten Nippy to it

All i will say is that i will be very shocked if he is still the manager in 18mths time

I’ll say this…..

There’s a feeling of déjà vu here.

We’ve had no meaningful no manager bounce; we’re basically as good as down with a third of the season left; we’re watching even worse football than under the previous manager.

So the question I ask myself, as a fan wondering whether I should renew my season ticket, is this….

Have I seen anything in this manager to make me think that he’s going to deliver a decent squad capable of producing positive, attacking football next season?

Or will it be another largely boring, negative, Moore-style hoof-ball snorefest?

Based on the evidence so far, I’d say the latter is most likely.

Today was entertaining. But let’s get it right, they were better than us. Another side with players prepared to run at the opposition and playing in triangles with players moving into space. Imagine if we ever did that.

What does he seen in Brown? What does the see in Gauci’s kicking? G Hall at RWB? C Hall starting? Where’s the creativity/pace in midfield? Why did we never have any control in the game? Why did we, ludicrously, decide that a point was sufficient and make those utterly bewildering subs removing arguably our 3 best players? Just poor, in every single aspect on & off the pitch.

He can go tonight for me.

You missed out "woke" Nips 👍

I think my wife has them

Yet again the centre of the pitch was our weakness as soon burton had the ball there second half, defensive second half captain made too many mistakes ( let’s not start on Gaucho’s kicking ability and awareness skill). But can see Brady frustrated out there. Even clearing the ball no one pushing out even stockley was telling them push out. Dominance in the headers wasn’t great. First half was good but poor defensive positioning and decisions let them have two goals to draw. These few matches are must wins to catch up the league. This is my opinion but one thing that annoyed me was the away manager showing his thanks to his fans getting them pumped up. Our gaffer nothing no wonder we was quiet till the players came out.

Changes

We all new at the start of the season our defence wasn't going to be good enough, we all knew the midfield wasn't strong enough, then Tolaj left and thatvwas that.
