When it comes to Waine it makes you wonder why on earth he was left out of the squad for 3 whole months earlier on in the season.

He was on international duty for a chunk of that time.

That must be the most ridiculous sub in footballing history. Brown does not offer anything, Waine quite a lot

Brown came on because Waine was out on his feet and not sure who else he could of replaced him with tbh,I cant wait now for Sherif to get on the bench(as long as we can keep him fit) because i am hoping that will then limit Browns appearances for us.

I think once Gray is up to speed then he will help us in a big way(shame its to late though),he obviously hasn't got the pace he once had but you can see his quality, although offside look how easily he took that ball down out of the air

On a side more positive note, we talk about players not improving with us but credit to Waine, after August I didn’t want to see him again in a Vale shirt, looked absolutely miles off EFL level, today fans are raging he has been taken off, good renaissance, five goals since December 2nd and not played a massive amount of minutes, imagine he’s currently trending at least 1 goal in 2 since that point if not better.

In my mind after Waine went off we gave up and decided play for a point - they were attack after attack once his movement had gone.

He was so "fatigued" that 30 seconds before he was taken off he held a rough tackle burst through and had a shot on Goal . I wish 5 or 6 of the others were as "fatigued" as Waine.  Yes he has come on leaps and bounds since early season and again, in my opinion, is the only one who has improved noticeably.  Thumbs up to Mr Archer as well - he is looking like a damn decent loan signing and I would like to think we may have a chance of signing him - hopefully.

Shame his effort thst rattled the bar didn’t go in

Massive goal for him never mind us that would of been

He was only on international duty for 1 game in October and for both games in November but even so he still wasn't getting into the squad.

I like Walters as a player. But taking off Archer, how is that going to improve our chances of scoring. Brady must be settling for a draw. Ridiculous we could win this

That is the main thing that annoyed me about Brady today,he clearly settled for the point with taking Archer off for Walters and then bringing the extra defender on at the end,we need WINS not draws

Well no, many fans had written him off.

I have to say I agree with you @pensioner Waine is the only player who has noticeably improved on a number of aspects in his game.

Its not exactly going to get him fired up for our cause though is it.

I think hes crap, but i think its absolutely ridiculous to boo him on to the field.

Thousands of others would disagree

each to there own but one obvious fact is Brown is never a professional footballer in a million yesrs

I know many fans had written him off but I can confirm that I wasn't one of them as I always thought he had potential it was about him gaining confidence and showing it which he certainly has done recently. I think he is still raw but once he gets over that he will be a very good player IMO.

Please God let others be as Awful and Fatigued as Waine was . As for someone saying he was awful 2nd half they must have been in the visually impaired section of the disabled stand . Wonder if he watched how much Brown failed to follow his example after coming on.

Mate I get you’re trying to say they are not watching the same game - but it’s very sad and ableist you’re using disability as an insult. Shame.

I’d written Waine off for sure. I thought he was a bad signing based off a bad season at Mansfield and I thought he was really poor in his early days with us. Today however I thought he was excellent and long may it continue. I still don’t think he has that much quality but he’s reasonably quick and that along with his effort gets him into our 11 now and probably for next season. I think he will be decent in league 2, strikes me as a league 2 / low league 1 player.
